Yandy Diaz Back With Team But Not Starting
2 years agoTampa Bay Rays infielder Yandy Diaz (personal) is back with the team and available on Thursday, but he's not in the starting lineup against the Toronto Blue Jays. Diaz left the team on Wednesday to attend to a family matter, so he should be back in the starting lineup for the start of a series against the Los Angeles Dodgers at home on Friday. Once the 31-year-old is back in Tampa's lineup, he should be back in all starting fantasy lineups. Diaz is the team's regular leadoff hitter and has a league-high .425 on-base percentage through 42 games. He's also hitting a strong .322 (49-for-152) with nine doubles, 11 home runs and 27 RBI. Luke Raley gets another start at first base and is hitting seventh on Thursday against Blue Jays right-hander Alek Manoah.
