Anaheim Ducks forward Ryan Strome (upper body) has been ruled out for the team's season-opening road trip, meaning he will be absent for at least two games. The Ducks will travel to Seattle and San Jose this week to begin their 2025-26 campaign. Strome's absence will be good news for Beckett Sennecke, who now looks nailed on to begin his NHL career in a top-six role. Sennecke had a big year with the Oshawa Generals in the OHL last season, and it will be fascinating to see whether he can replicate his play among pros.--Taavi Pailk
