Will Parks Out 4-6 Weeks
4 years agoPhiladelphia Eagles defensive back Will Parks (hamstring) suffered a hamstring injury that is expected to keep him out for four to six weeks, according to a source. Parks has been a quick healer in the past, so he could beat that timetable and make it back sooner. The safety was expected to help replace Malcolm Jenkins in Philly's secondary, but that'll have to wait now. The 26-year-old can also work at nickel defensive back and linebacker, so he gives the Eagles options on defense. Rodney McLeod and Jalen Mills figure to open the season as the team's starting safeties. Darius Slay should help shore up the team's secondary, and with a strong defensive line, the Eagles Defense is at least in the picture as a low-end starting defensive unit in fantasy.
