6 years agoToronto Blue Jays third base prospect Vladimir Guerrero Jr. (oblique) is taking at-bats in extended spring training games, according to manager Charlie Montoyo. The club has liked what they have seen, but Montoyo encouraged the top prospect in baseball to get comfortable with his swing in Florida before they move him to Triple-A Buffalo. Guerrero is one of the best overall prospects in baseball in recent memory, so he shouldn't stick around in Buffalo for very long if he's fully healthy. He should be stashed in all leagues and could make his MLB debut later this month or in early May. Brandon Drury will become a bench bat once Guerrero is ready for the Show.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
