Ty Gibbs Will Probably Be an Afterthought With All Three Teammates Still in the Playoffs
After a dismal start to the 2025 season, Ty Gibbs has steadily improved throughout the season, culminating in arguably the best race of his career at Bristol. But when considering how dominant his teammates have been in either wins or laps led, he still hasn't run great. While he's been consistently fast at Bristol and road courses, he's seemed to struggle with consistency at most other tracks, and Loudon is no exception, as he finished 27th and 16th in his two previous starts here, although he slightly improved his starting position to 13th this time. With all three of the other Joe Gibbs Racing cars making it into the Round of 12, it seems like Gibbs might likely be an afterthought for the team this weekend as they work to lock their cars into the Round of 8, which is probably why you should avoid him.
