Trevor Siemian To Visit With Bengals Wednesday
2 years agoFormer Chicago Bears quarterback Trevor Siemian, who has been considered a very valuable asset in every QB room he's been a part of, will visit with the Cincinnati Bengals on Wednesday, according to a source. Siemian was released in March after needing surgery last season for an oblique injury that he suffered in Week 12. He ended the campaign on Injured Reserve. The 31-year-old should be fully recovered from the injury in time for the start of the 2023 season, and if he were to sign with the Bengals, he'd likely be Joe Burrow's direct backup. Jake Browning is the only other signal-caller currently on their roster. In six NFL seasons with the Bears, Denver Broncos, New York Jets and New Orleans Saints, Siemian has completed 58.9% of his passes for 7,027 yards, 42 touchdowns and 28 interceptions in 35 games (30 starts).
