Ja'Tavion Sanders on Track to Miss Third Consecutive Game
Ja'Tavion Sanders (ankle) is unlikely to play in his team's home outing with the Dallas Cowboys in Week 6. Sanders' practice participation was up and down this week, leading up to the Panthers' matchup with Dallas, logging a full session on Thursday that was bookended by two limited ones. Per Schefter, he'll need another week to recover. Teammates Tommy Tremble and Mitchell Evans have operated as Carolina's first and second option at TE, respectively, in Sanders' absence, and they figure to do so again Sunday against the Cowboys. However, neither projects to be a particularly enticing option for fantasy.
