Bryan Rust Ready for Season Debut Saturday
Pittsburgh Penguins right wing Bryan Rust (lower body) was activated from Injured Reserve on Saturday and will make his season debut against the New York Rangers. The veteran forward was forced to sit out the first couple of games of the season due to a lower-body injury. Now that Rust is healthy, the Penguins have assigned Ville Koivunen to the AHL. Rust had a great year last season with 31 goals and 65 points in 71 contests. He should remain a prolific fantasy contributor in 2025-26 as a top-six forward in Pittsburgh who also logs plenty of power-play time.
