According to ESPN's Adam Schefter, San Francisco 49ers quarterback Mac Jones (knee, oblique) is expected to be active for his team's matchup with the hosting Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Jones has now dealt with knee and oblique injuries over the past few weeks, but will again get the start for the 49ers despite logging a week's worth of limited practices. Schefter also notes that teammate Brock Purdy (toe) has a "chance" to return in Week 7. It's excellent news for San Francisco, as the team is dealing with a mess of injuries on both sides of the ball. Reportedly, the team should also have wide receiver Jauan Jennings (ankle, rib) active, aiding Jones with Ricky Pearsall (knee) still at least a week away.--Alex Ciulla
