Tim Anderson Resting Against Twins
2 years agoChicago White Sox shortstop Tim Anderson is not in the starting lineup versus right-hander Pablo Lopez and the Minnesota Twins on Thursday. Anderson returned from the injured list on Tuesday and went hitless, but he rebounded with three hits on Wednesday and will get a breather as we head into the weekend. The 29-year-old All-Star has played in only 13 games so far because of his knee injury, but he's hitting .309 (17-for-55) with five doubles, five RBI, five stolen bases and 10 runs scored. He's a must-start for fantasy managers anytime he's on the field. Elvis Andrus is starting at short and hitting seventh, while Lenyn Sosa is at second base and batting eighth against Lopez on Thursday.
