Steelers Could Trade Up For Offensive Tackle
2 years agoESPN draft analyst Todd McShay has heard that the Pittsburgh Steelers have contacted multiple teams, including the Chicago Bears (No. 9 overall) and Tennessee Titans (No. 11) about trading up within the first round of the NFL draft on Thursday night for an offensive tackle. The Steelers have the No. 17 pick and need a long-term answer as protection for young quarterback Kenny Pickett. There are three potential cornerstone left tackles in this year's class that will be available in that range in the first round. The Steelers recently moved up in Round 1 to take linebacker Devin Bush, and we could see something similar this year for an offensive tackle.
