Although NASCAR Cup Series Rookie of the Year Shane van Gisbergen still hasn't had much speed in any oval race this season, he's significantly improved at oval qualifying with his ninth-place start on Sunday, following recent qualifying runs of sixth and 11th at Dover and Indianapolis. However, that's precisely why you shouldn't start him. Although it's likely he'll eventually develop a modicum of oval race speed at some point, now is not that point. He is almost guaranteed to lose positions from his starting position, as he did almost instantly at Dover, which means he will almost certainly score negative place-differential points in DFS and is probably one of the worst options in the field.--Sean Wrona - RotoBaller
