Randall Cobb Expected To Sign With Jets
2 years agoFormer Green Bay Packers wide receiver Randall Cobb is expected to agree to an undisclosed one-year deal with the New York Jets, allowing him to play with quarterback Aaron Rodgers again, according to sources. Cobb is a favorite of Rodgers, but the 32-year-old veteran produced only 34 receptions for 417 yards and one touchdown on 50 targets over 13 games (three starts) in Green Bay with Rodgers in 2022. He'll also have a very difficult path to meaningful snaps and playing time in a crowded New York receiving room. The Jets already have Garrett Wilson, Allen Lazard, Mecole Hardman and Corey Davis at the position, so it's hard to envision Cobb being much of a presence for fantasy managers in his new home.
