Raheem Mostert, Jimmy Garoppolo Ruled Out
4 years agoSan Francisco 49ers running back Raheem Mostert (knee) and quarterback Jimmy Garoppolo (ankle) have been ruled out for the Sunday night game in Week 4 against the Eagles. It will be the second straight missed game for both players. Mostert is dealing with an MCL sprain, while Garoppolo has a minor ankle sprain. With Mostert out again and Tevin Coleman on Injured Reserve, Jerick McKinnon and Jeff Wilson Jr. should once again split the backfield duties against a Philly team that has allowed just 10 receptions to running backs through three weeks. Despite the tough matchup, both McKinnon and Wilson are attractive as low-end RB2/high-end RB3 assets, with McKinnon being more valuable in PPR leagues. Nick Mullens will start again under center and faces a questionable Eagles secondary. He'll get tight end George Kittle (knee) back after throwing for over 300 yards and a touchdown against the Giants last week, but Mullens remains only a streaming option as a QB2 in superflex leagues.
