The Carolina Panthers signed free-agent cornerback Chris Westry to an undisclosed deal on Monday. Westry, who stands at 6-foot-4, will add depth at the position behind Donte Jackson, C.J. Henderson, Jaycee Horn and Rashaan Melvin. The 24-year-old became a free agent when the Baltimore Ravens didn't tender him an offer. Westry had only 17 solo tackles and three passes defensed in six games (two starts) for the Ravens last year, and he has 18 solo tackles in two NFL seasons.
