New York Jets offensive tackle Olu Fashanu (foot) has been taking part in voluntary organized team activities this offseason after suffering a foot injury that ended his rookie season early in 2024 in Week 16. Now that Fashanu is back on the field in June, he should be a full-go for training camp this summer, the preseason, and the start of the 2025 campaign in the fall. The good news is that the 22-year-old tackle didn't require surgery for his foot injury, which is why he's available during OTAs. The Jets expect their offensive line to be a strength in 2025 after a disappointing 2024 season that ended in another year without a trip to the playoffs. If healthy, Fashanu is expected to be the blind-side protector for new quarterback Justin Fields at left tackle.--Keith HernandezSource: NewYorkJets.com

The Minnesota Twins have activated left-handed pitcher Danny Coulombe (forearm) from the 15-day injured list before Sunday's contest against the Toronto Blue Jays. In a corresponding move, the Twins placed right-handed pitcher Zebby Matthews (shoulder) on the 15-day IL. Coulombe has been held out of action since May 18. Before the injury, the southpaw was enjoying an impressive start to the campaign, tossing 16 2/3 shutout innings of relief. The left-hander has struck out 19 batters and served up walks at a stellar 3.3% rate. Under the hood, he has generated an elite 1.68 xERA with a .187 xBA. During the opening months of the campaign, Coulombe tallied two holds and two saves operating as a high-leverage option. While Jhoan Duran and Griffin Jax will continue to see most of the high-leverage situations, Coulombe should see a handful of opportunities to tally holds going forward.--Andy SmithSource: Minnesota Twins

The Minnesota Twins have placed right-handed pitcher Zebby Matthews (shoulder) on the 15-day injured list with a right shoulder strain on Sunday. Matthews was able to pick up his first win of the campaign in his last outing, but will now be sitting for at least the next two weeks. In a corresponding move, the Twins activated left-handed pitcher Danny Coulombe (forearm) from the IL. Through 19 innings this season, Matthews has posted a 5.21 ERA with a 1.47 WHIP. He has tallied 25 punchouts but allowed walks at a high 9.6% rate. Earlier this season at Triple-A, Matthews showed high upside as he posted a 1.93 ERA with a 1.19 WHIP across 32 2/3 innings of work. With Matthews now sidelined, fantasy managers should expect the Twins to promote Simeon Woods Richardson from Triple-A to fill his spot in the rotation.--Andy SmithSource: Minnesota Twins

Athletics first base prospect Nick Kurtz (hip) went 2-for-3 with a home run, three RBI, two runs scored and a walk as Low-A Stockton's leadoff hitter in his minor-league rehab game on Saturday. It was Kurt's first rehab game since landing on the 10-day injured list on May 25 with a strained left hip flexor, but as long as he feels good coming out of Saturday's game, he's expected to come off the IL and play in Monday's series opener against the division-rival Los Angeles Angels. The 22-year-old left-handed slugger is the No. 2 first base prospect in MLB behind the Royals' Jac Caglianone, and he has high-end power for fantasy manager in the near and long term. When Kurtz returns on Monday, he should jump right back into the starting lineup as the A's regular first baseman. The former first-rounder had gone 23-for-94 (.245) with five homers and 15 RBI in his first 28 MLB games before his injury.--Keith HernandezSource: Milb.com

Boston Red Sox outfield prospect Roman Anthony collected just one hit in four at-bats on Saturday for Triple-A Worcester, but the lone hit was a mammoth 497-foot grand slam that came off the bat at 115.6 mph. In addition to the four RBI, MLB's top prospect also walked once and scored twice in the contest. It was the 21-year-old's 10th home run of the year and the longest home run hit at any level this season. The 6-foot-3 slugger is now slashing .290/.421/.495 on the season. Despite going 5-for-29 (.172) over his last seven games, he owns one of the best hit tools in the minors, and Saturday's display should show that, at the very least, his power is MLB-worthy. Anthony will be one of the next big prospects to get the call to the majors and should be up by the end of the month. The left-handed slugger is a stash candidate in all leagues ahead of his eventual call-up.--Jarod RuppSource: MiLB

Pittsburgh Pirates shortstop/outfield prospect Konnor Griffin is absolutely on fire at Single-A Bradenton, going 3-for-5 on Saturday with a home run, three RBI, two runs scored, and a stolen base. The Pirates' second-ranked prospect now has multiple hits in five straight games, and at least three hits in four of his last seven contests, going 16-for-29 (.552) over that seven-game stretch, which includes a double, a triple, a home run, and five steals. The 2024 first-rounder now boasts a .338/.396/.536 slash line with nine home runs and 26 stolen bases through 50 games played. A test at Double-A should be right around the corner, and dynasty managers should be keeping a close eye on the toolsy 19-year-old.--Jarod RuppSource: MiLB.com

Tampa Bay Rays pitching prospect Ian Seymour has been called up from Triple-A Durham in order to provide some relief to a heavily taxed bullpen. The Rays' 19th-ranked prospect is a logical option due to the fact that he is already on the 40-man roster, and although he has been working as a starter in the minors, the lefty has superb strikeout stuff that has helped him to 84 punchouts in only 61 innings pitched. The 84 strikeouts are the most of any minor league pitcher, coming with a 2.95 ERA and 1.20 WHIP. Not being a closing option or a starter and without any certainty how long he'll be with the team, there's little reason to roster the southpaw on most fantasy squads, but if a rotation spot were to open up, Seymour would be a solid add on his strikeout upside alone in deeper leagues. Cole Sulser was optioned to Durham in a corresponding move.--Jarod RuppSource: Rays Communications

Tampa Bay Rays catcher Danny Jansen was an unlikely hero at the plate during Saturday's game against the Miami Marlins. Jansen did a little of everything in this game, including a two-run home run in the fourth inning. He would finish this game 3-for-4 with a homer, double, and three runs scored in the loss. It hasn't been a pretty season for Jansen who is slashing .200/.320/.354 with five homers and 14 RBI this season. It was a nice outing for the veteran catcher, but he's still not productive enough to warrant rostering in most fantasy formats.--Andy WebbSource: MLB.com

New York Mets infielder Ronny Mauricio posted a solid performance at the plate during Saturday's game against the Colorado Rockies. Mauricio took right-hander German Marquez deep in the third inning for his first homer of the season. It was a quality outing from Mauricio who finished the game 2-for-4 with a homer, stolen base, and two runs scored. It was his first multi-hit game of the season, but hopefully there will be more to come. Mauricio figures to split up time at third base with Brett Baty. Fantasy managers in deep leagues can take a look at Mauricio, but he's not a must-have player.--Andy WebbSource: mlb.com

Joe Gibbs Racing's Denny Hamlin will start third for the FireKeepers Casino 400 at Michigan International Speedway. This marks the second time this season that Hamlin scored back-to-back top-5 starting positions during the 2025 season. In 34 Cup races at Michigan, Hamlin has two wins, 19 top-10 finishes, which is the most of active drivers, and an average finish of 12.2. With 14 races completed this season, Hamlin has two wins, seven top-10 finishes, and an average finish of 14.4. In practice for this week's race, Hamlin ranked 24th in overall lap averages and sixth in 10 consecutive lap averages. Michigan is one of Hamlin's top tracks in the past couple of years and should once again be a top contender for the win.--Sean Engel - RotoBallerSource: DriverAverages.com

New York Yankees catcher Austin Wells was able to do some damage against tough southpaw Garrett Crochet on Saturday. Wells got the better of Crochet in the second inning with a three-run blast off the Boston ace. He would later add another RBI with a double in the fourth inning. He finished his night 2-for-4 with a homer and four RBI, but it wasn't enough to get his club the win. Wells is in the middle of a hot streak with five hits over his last three games.--Andy WebbSource: mlb.com

Kyle Larson of Hendrick Motorsports will start fifth for Sunday's FireKeepers Casino 400 at Michigan International Speedway. This marks the first time in Larson's Cup career that he scored back-to-back top-5 starting positions in Michigan Cup races. In 16 races at the site, Larson has three wins, nine top-10 finishes, and an average finish of 12.4. After 14 races completed this season, Larson has a series-leading eight top-5 finishes, a series-leading 851 laps led, and an average finish of 11.6. In practice, Larson ranked 29th in overall lap averages and 15th in five consecutive lap averages. Despite his practice speeds being underwhelming, Larson has top-notch equipment and regularly has been one of the best on oval tracks in terms of overall speed. Expect him to compete for the win as one of the top favorites of the week.--Sean Engel - RotoBallerSource: DriverAverages.com

Seattle Mariners catcher Cal Raleigh has been on another level lately with the bat. On Saturday, Raleigh opened the scoring with a three-run home run off right-hander Jack Kochanowicz in the first inning. His day wouldn't end there as Raleigh would go deep again in the ninth inning off right-hander Kenley Jansen. Raleigh is hitting 15-for-43 with nine home runs and 18 RBI over his last 11 games. The switch-hitting catcher now has a three-homer lead over Shohei Ohtani for the MLB lead.--Andy WebbSource: mlb.com

Hendrick Motorsports driver Chase Elliott qualified 17th for the FireKeepers Casino 400 at Michigan International Speedway. Elliott is the lowest-qualifying driver out of Hendrick's four racers for Sunday's race at Michigan. In 14 races at the site, Elliott has 10 top-10 finishes and an average finish of 10.5. Through 14 races completed in the 2025 season, Elliott remains the only driver in the field to place in the top 20 at the end of every Cup event and he has an average finish of 11.5. In practice for Sunday's race, Elliott ranked seventh in overall lap averages, 11th in five consecutive lap averages, and 10th in 10 consecutive lap averages. With solid upside, practice speeds indicative of a top-10 finish, and favorable track history, Elliott is a driver worth rostering in all DFS formats this week.--Sean Engel - RotoBallerSource: DriverAverages.com

Baltimore Orioles infielder Jordan Westburg (hamstring) continued to hit well on Saturday during his rehab assignment, going 2-for-2 with a walk, a double, and a solo home run for Triple-A Norfolk. It was his second consecutive game with a home run, and six of his nine rehab hits have now gone for extra bases (four 2B, two HR). The 26-year-old's bat sure looks ready, and a return to Baltimore in the coming days is likely. The right-handed hitter recorded an uninspiring .217/.265/.391 slash line before going down with the injury, although he had hit safely in six of his last seven games, so perhaps his bat was beginning to come around back in mid-April. Coming off an 18-homer campaign in 2024 in just 107 games, Westburg could be a sneaky source of power in deep mixed leagues, and is eligible at both 2B and 3B on Yahoo!.--Jarod RuppSource: Norfolk Tides

William Byron of Hendrick Motorsports will start fourth for this week's FireKeepers Casino 400 at Michigan International Speedway. Byron qualified the highest of all four Hendrick drivers that have entered this week's race. In 10 races at Michigan, Byron has three top-10 finishes, including a career-best finish of second in last year's race at the site, and an average finish of 15.2. After 14 races completed this season, Byron is the season points leader with one win, nine top-10 finishes, and a series-leading average finish of 9.2. In practice, Byron ranked 17th in overall lap averages, but displayed top-10 speeds in all other categories. Based on his equipment, recent Michigan history, and his overall 2025 performance, Byron is one of the top favorites to compete for the win this week.--Sean Engel - RotoBallerSource: DriverAverages.com

Los Angeles Angels outfielder Jo Adell came ready to swing the bat during Saturday's game against the Seattle Mariners. Adell took right-hander Luis Castillo deep in the second inning. After that, Adell got Castillo again with another home run in the fourth inning. He finished his night 3-for-3 with two homers, three RBI, and a walk in the win. Adell has been hot lately, going 7-for-22 with five homers over his last seven games. Fantasy managers in deep leagues should take a look at Adell while he's swinging a hot bat.--Andy WebbSource: mlb.com

Los Angeles Angels outfielder Jorge Soler (groin) made an early exit from Saturday's game against the Seattle Mariners. Soler was taken out after the first inning due to what is being called groin tightness. This is something that has bothered him lately, so it wouldn't be shocking to see him get a few days off. For now, fantasy managers should consider Soler as day-to-day. The Angels will likely further evaluate him, so fantasy managers will need to check back. Chris Taylor took over on Saturday and figures to see more action if Soler misses time.--Andy WebbSource: Angels PR

Richard Childress Racing driver Kyle Busch qualified on the front row at Michigan International Speedway for the fourth time in his Cup career and will start second in Sunday's FireKeepers Casino 400. In 36 races at Michigan, Busch has one win, 16 top-10 finishes, and an average finish of 17.2. He also led 24 laps and finished fourth in last year's Michigan Cup race. In 14 races completed so far in 2025, Busch has four top-10 finishes and an average finish of 17.4. In practice, Busch ranked 25th in overall lap averages and 18th in 10 consecutive lap averages. Busch's high starting position leaves no upside, and considering how Michigan has been a track filled with mixed results for him as well as his inconsistent performance this season, he is difficult to recommend for DFS, only being playable in a tournament setting. --Sean Engel - RotoBallerSource: DriverAverages.com

Seattle Mariners outfielder Julio Rodriguez (ankle) needed to be helped off the field by trainers during Saturday's game against the Los Angeles Angels. It's never a good sign to see a player needing to be helped off the field, but luckily it sounds like Rodriguez has avoided serious injury. The X-rays came back negative, so Rodriguez is currently considered day-to-day with a bruised ankle. The Mariners are hopeful that Rodriguez will be able to avoid a trip to the injured list. The swelling in his ankle could force him to miss a few games, but hopefully he'll return early next week. Fantasy managers will need to check back for another update.--Andy WebbSource: Daniel Kramer

23XI Racing's Bubba Wallace qualified in the ninth position for the FireKeepers Casino 400 at Michigan International Speedway. Wallace is the only driver from 23XI to qualify inside the top 10 for this week's race at Michigan. In 11 races at the site, Wallace has two top-10 finishes, an average finish of 19.2, and he led multiple laps in the last three Cup events. Through 14 races so far this season, Wallace has five top-10 finishes, including last week's race at Nashville where he placed sixth. In practice, Wallace ranked fifth in overall lap averages and 12th in five consecutive lap averages. Expect Wallace to compete for a top-10 finish based on his equipment, practice speeds, and the speed he displayed in recent Michigan Cup events.--Sean Engel - RotoBallerSource: DriverAverages.com

Alex Bowman of Hendrick Motorsports will start this week's FireKeepers Casino 400 at Michigan International Speedway from the 16th position. This is Bowman's best starting position at Michigan since 2022, when the Next-Gen car was introduced. In 15 previous races at MIS, Bowman has six top-20 finishes and an average finish of 24.3. With 14 races completed this season, Bowman has seven top-10 finishes and an average finish of 19.1. In practice, Bowman ranked 18th in overall lap averages but displayed top-10 speeds through almost all other categories. With top-notch equipment and some upside from his starting position, Bowman is a driver worth consideration for all formats, especially as his practice speeds and overall 2025 speed indicate that he should compete for a top-10 finish.--Sean Engel - RotoBallerSource: DriverAverages.com

Team Penske's Austin Cindric will start this week's race at Michigan International Speedway, the FireKeepers Casino 400, from the 11th position after qualifying. Cindric has the highest starting position of the three Penske drivers for this week's race. In three starts at Michigan, Cindric's best finish is 12th, which he scored in the 2023 Cup event at the site. Through 14 races so far this season, Cindric has one win, five top-15 finishes, and an average finish of 18.3. In practice for this week's Cup race, Cindric ranked 11th in overall lap averages, eighth in five consecutive lap averages, and third in 10 consecutive lap averages. Cindric does not have much upside based on his salary range of $7,200, but he has shown some quality finishes, especially at races with the intermediate rules package similarly used at Michigan this week. He is recommended mainly for tournament lineups, but otherwise should be avoided for DFS due to his shaky Michigan history. --Sean Engel - RotoBallerSource: DriverAverages.com

Shane Van Gisbergen of Trackhouse Racing acquired a starting position of 26th for Sunday's FireKeepers Casino 400 at Michigan International Speedway. This is Van Gisbergen's first start in the Cup Series at the site and he placed 17th in his only start in the Xfinity Series there in 2024. After completing 14 races in the Cup Series this season, Van Gisbergen has four top-20 finishes and placed 25th or better in each of the last four Cup events. In practice, Van Gisbergen ranked 37th in overall lap averages and 27th in 10 consecutive lap averages. The New Zealand rookie has solid upside with equipment capable of placing in the top 25 for this week's Cup race. For those looking for cap flexibility options, SVG is one of the more favorable options when considering his salary of $5,500 or below on DraftKings.--Sean Engel - RotoBallerSource: DriverAverages.com

John Hunter Nemechek of Legacy Motor Club will start 21st for this week's FireKeepers Casino 400 at Michigan International Speedway after qualifying. Nemechek's starting position is a new career-best at the site in the Cup Series. In three starts at Michigan, Nemechek's best finish is 23rd, which he scored from the August 2020 Cup event, and he did collect positive place differential twice. With 14 races completed this year, Nemechek has six top-20 finishes and an average finish of 19.4. In practice, Nemechek ranked 10th in overall lap averages and displayed top-10 speeds in almost all categories. With solid upside, favorable long run practice speeds, and plenty of cap flexibility, Nemechek is one of the better value options to consider for this week's race at Michigan.--Sean Engel - RotoBallerSource: DriverAverages.com

Todd Gilliland of Front Row Motorsports will start 33rd for Sunday's FireKeepers Casino 400 at Michigan International Speedway. Gilliland's starting position marks the third time in his Cup career where he will start from a position outside of the top 30 at Michigan. In three previous races at the site, the No. 34 Ford driver's best finish is 27th, and he collected positive place differential twice. Through 14 races so far this season, Gilliland has nine top-20 finishes and an average finish of 19.0. In practice, Gilliland ranked 19th in overall lap averages and 17th in 10 consecutive lap averages. Gilliland's Michigan history is unfavorable, but overall, his practice speeds and overall 2025 season-wide performance are decent for the salary. Although he is not the top recommendation for a value option since he does not offer as much speed as some, Gilliland is not a bad option for those looking for cap flexibility in DFS for all formats at $5,700 on DraftKings.--Sean Engel - RotoBallerSource: DriverAverages.com

After a comical string of bad luck this year, Ryan Blaney finally broke through to victory at Nashville, becoming the last of the four Penske-affiliated drivers to do so even though he has as usual been running better than his teammates. Although recent history suggested Team Penske was neglecting non-playoff tracks to focus exclusively on Phoenix, they seem to have stopped doing so this year, which makes it more likely that they will bring the same speed they had at Nashville to other tracks. Blaney qualified 13th in an inside-line sandwich between his teammates Austin Cindric and Joey Logano. Blaney has led eight of the last ten races here, although he rarely leads a lot. Over that time span, he has also collected seven top tens including a win in 2021, so he consistently runs well. He's definitely a top contender for DFS play today and the only issue may be that at $10,500, he might be a little overpriced.--Sean Wrona - RotoBallerSource: Racing Reference

Although Ross Chastain is one of the most valuable DFS drivers most weeks because he tends to qualify poorly and finish well, Michigan may not be one of the best tracks to start him. Although he's generally known for his intermediate prowess, he tends to do better on the 1.3-1.5 mile intermediates than the 2-milers. Although he has led the last three Michigan races, he crashed in 2022 and spun in overtime last year. However, he has never driven more cleanly than he has this year so he might be more likely to get a good finish even though his cars seem slower than they were in previous years. The main reason he might not be the best choice this week is because he qualified 20th, much better than he usually does, meaning he is less likely to earn Place Differential points. He's still a top choice for this race and well worth considering, but others seem to be better options for this race.--Sean Wrona - RotoBallerSource: Racing Reference
