Tekoah Roby Promoted to Triple-A
Tekoah Roby has been promoted from Double-A Springfield to Triple-A Memphis. Roby, the team's No. 11 prospect per MLB Pipeline, gets the promotion after going 4-2 with a 2.49 ERA, 0.96 WHIP and 57:11 K:BB in 47 innings over 10 starts. The 23-year-old former third-rounder by the Texas Rangers in 2020 only managed 10 total starts last year due a shoulder injury, so it's nice to see him bounce back already in 2025. Roby, who stands at 6-foot-1 and 210 pounds, could make his major-league debut later this season if he impresses at Memphis. He features a fastball, nasty curveball, slider and changeup. It's nice to see him performing well this season, but the Cardinals will likely want to see him get through a whole year healthy before considering him for their rotation in 2026.Source: St. Louis Post-Dispatch - Derrick Goold
St. Louis Cardinals right-handed pitching prospect Michael McGreevy Could Make Another Spot Start This Month
Michael McGreevy could come back up to the big leagues to make another spot start later this month. McGreevy came up to make his first start of the year on Sunday against the Los Angeles Dodgers and took the loss after allowing four earned runs on eight hits while walking none and striking out five in six innings. All things considered, it wasn't a bad showing for the 24-year-old, who is considered the team's No. 10 prospect per MLB Pipeline. The former 18th overall pick in 2021 out of Santa Barbara has held his own with a 3.09 ERA and 0.86 WHIP with 10 strikeouts in his two outings (11 2/3 innings) this year after making his MLB debut in 2024. McGreevy's stuff isn't anything special, but he's a ground-ball artist with exceptional control.Source: St. Louis Post-Dispatch - Daniel Guerrero

Nacho Alvarez Jr. Begins Rehab Assignment with FCL Braves
Nacho Alvarez Jr. (wrist) began a rehab assignment with the FCL Braves on Monday. The 22-year-old has been out of action all year with wrist inflammation, so it could take some time to get ramped up. Once his rehab is complete, he'll likely head to Triple-A with designs on making it back to the majors. The Braves' top offensive prospect (third overall) made a debut in 2024, but went just 3-for-30 (.100) in his brief stay with the big league club. The former fifth-round draft pick slashed .297/.398/.463 with 10 home runs and 10 stolen bases over 64 games at Triple-A last year. The power surge at Triple-A was a bit of a surprise after hitting zero home runs in 48 games at Double-A, so that shouldn't be something fantasy managers should expect when he makes it back to the Braves, but he makes excellent contact and has the ability to steal bases, so he could become a stash candidate later this season.Source: Atlanta Braves

Francisco Alvarez Goes on Paternity List
Francisco Alvarez on the paternity list and recalled catcher Hayden Senger from Triple-A Syracuse in a corresponding move. Alvarez will be away from the team for a few days and probably won't return until sometime this weekend for a series at home against the Tampa Bay Rays. With Alvarez out, veteran Luis Torrens will do the catching and hit sixth on Tuesday against the division-rival Washington Nationals and tough left-hander MacKenzie Gore. Senger will serve as New York's backup for a few days. Alvarez got a late start to the 2025 season due to injury and is currently hitting .255 (26-for-102) but with only two home runs, 10 RBI and six runs scored in 114 trips to the plate. Injuries also slowed him down last year, but the 23-year-old hit 25 homers in his first full MLB season in 2023.Source: New York Mets
The New York Mets announced on Tuesday that they placed catcher Eriq Swan Earns Midwest League Pitcher of the Week
Source: MiLB.com
Los Angeles Dodgers pitching prospect Eriq Swan earned Midwest League Pitcher of the Week honors after tossing six no-hit innings for High-A Great Lakes in his last start. The righty walked two and struck out seven in the combined no-hitter for the Loons, which was a shortened seven-inning game last Thursday as it was the second game of a doubleheader. The 6-foot-6 hurler has been so-so in 2025, recording five starts of one earned run or less allowed, but has three starts with a combined 14 earned runs allowed, leading to a 5.04 ERA on the year. The Dodgers' 16th-ranked prospect has a big fastball that can hit triple digits, which has helped him to a solid 27.1 percent strikeout rate (38 K in 30 1/3 IP) this year, but a 16.4 percent walk rate needs work, and could eventually push him to the bullpen if not improved. The 23-year-old has an ETA of 2027 per MLB Pipeline, but as a fireballing reliever, he could be there sooner.Rafael Devers Dealing With Undisclosed Injury
Rafael Devers (undisclosed) slowed down before getting to first base in the series finale against the New York Yankees on Sunday and was seen grimacing during the play. "He plays every day; obviously he's a DH, and there's certain things—nothing major—but stuff that we have to pay attention to," manager Alex Cora said. In his following at-bat on Sunday, Devers hit a 393-foot home run in the ninth inning, so the injury obviously isn't too serious. However, it's something to keep an eye on, and it could cause Cora to give the 28-year-old a rest day coming up. Devers told Cora that he was "doing OK." He has played in all 68 games in 2025, so it's probably time for his first day off of the season. The Dominican infielder has been solid in his full-time move to DH this year and is slashing .280/.409/.516 with a .925 OPS, 14 homers, 57 RBI and 45 runs scored.Source: Boston Sports Journal - Chris Henrique

Corbin Carroll Battling Tight Hamstring
Corbin Carroll (hamstring) has been battling through a tight hamstring. Carroll was still in the lineup for Monday's series-opening, extra-inning win over the visiting Seattle Mariners, though, and went 1-for-5 with a solo home run and a walk. The 24-year-old former National League Rookie of the Year missed a couple games over the weekend, and now we know why. He should be fine, but it's something to keep an eye on moving forward if he misses anymore games. If anything, it could cause the former first-rounder to run less on the basepaths. When Carroll is in the starting lineup, he's a must-start in all fantasy leagues with a .258/.339/.569 slash line, .908 OPS, 19 home runs, 41 RBI, 50 runs scored and 10 stolen bases in 260 at-bats this year.Source: SI.com - Jack Sommers
SI.com's Jack Sommers reported on Monday that Arizona Diamondbacks outfielder Ian Seymour Strikes Out Two, Picks Up Win in Debut
Ian Seymour made his MLB Debut on Monday, coming on in the 10th inning of the team's 10-8 win over the Red Sox in extras. The lefty allowed one unearned run on an error by first baseman Jonathan Aranda, while walking two (one intentional) and striking out two in the two-inning outing. He did not allow a hit in nine batters faced, and because the Rays would take the lead in the top of the 11th and go on to be victorious with Seymour on the mound, the Rays' 19th-ranked prospect would end up as the winning pitcher in the contest. The 26-year-old could be a ratio-enhancer if he ends up sticking around, especially with his strikeout ability, but offers little more fantasy relevance without a closing role.Source: ESPN
Tampa Bay Rays pitching prospect Heston Kjerstad Demoted to Triple-A
Heston Kjerstad to Triple-A Norfolk and reinstated outfielder Cedric Mullins (hamstring) from the 10-day injured list in a corresponding move. Kjerstad gets caught in a roster crunch with Baltimore's outfield getting healthy. The 26-year-old former second overall pick in 2020 out of Arkansas has not been able to carve out a regular role with the team since debuting in 2023. In 54 games this year, he went 30-for-156 (.192) with four home runs, five doubles, two triples, 19 RBI, 16 runs scored, a steal, six walks and 45 strikeouts in 167 plate appearances. Kjerstad has a .218/.284/.365 slash line, .649 OPS, 10 homers, 36 RBI and 88 strikeouts in 106 games played at the big-league level since 2023. He has hit the ball hard, but he's just not making enough contact.Source: Baltimore Orioles
The Baltimore Orioles announced on Tuesday that they optioned outfielder Cam Caminiti Looks Good in First Start at Single-A
Source: MiLB.com
Atlanta Braves pitching prospect Cam Caminiti made his Single-A debut this past Saturday and did not disappoint. The Braves' top-ranked prospect allowed one earned run on one hit and one walk while striking out eight batters over five innings of work. The Braves' 2024 first-round draft pick made just one start at Single-A last year after being drafted and missed the first part of this year due to forearm tendinitis. The southpaw made four starts with the team's Florida Complex affiliate before debuting on Saturday, and despite a high ERA, struck out 15 hitters in 13 2/3 IP while walking just two. At only 18 years old, the 6-foot-2 hurler has a few years before he hits the big leagues, but in growing up with baseball in his blood (he's the cousin of the late Ken Caminiti) and with a first-round pedigree, there's a good chance he'll have a fantasy impact when that happens.Orioles Reinstate Cedric Mullins From 10-Day Injured List
Cedric Mullins (hamstring) from the 10-day injured list and optioned outfielder Heston Kjerstad to Triple-A Norfolk in a corresponding move. The Orioles haven't released their lineup for Tuesday's tilt against the visiting Detroit Tigers, but Mullins may be on the bench with left-hander Brant Hurter on the mound. Mullins skipped a minor-league rehab assignment after straining his right hamstring in late May. His return will push Jorge Mateo back to a reserve infield role with Colton Cowser shifting to a corner outfield spot now against right-handed pitchers. Mullins has a .232 batting average on the year but also sports a .218 xBA, so he's not going to help fantasy managers at all in the average department. The 30-year-old does already have 10 homers and eight steals through 50 games, though.Source: Baltimore Orioles
