Corbin Carroll Battling Tight Hamstring
Corbin Carroll (hamstring) has been battling through a tight hamstring. Carroll was still in the lineup for Monday's series-opening, extra-inning win over the visiting Seattle Mariners, though, and went 1-for-5 with a solo home run and a walk. The 24-year-old former National League Rookie of the Year missed a couple games over the weekend, and now we know why. He should be fine, but it's something to keep an eye on moving forward if he misses anymore games. If anything, it could cause the former first-rounder to run less on the basepaths. When Carroll is in the starting lineup, he's a must-start in all fantasy leagues with a .258/.339/.569 slash line, .908 OPS, 19 home runs, 41 RBI, 50 runs scored and 10 stolen bases in 260 at-bats this year.
