David Sanders Jr. Questionable to Make Debut Against Georgia
Tennessee offensive tackle David Sanders Jr. (shoulder) is officially questionable to face Georgia on Saturday due to a shoulder injury, according to ESPN's Pete Thamel. The true freshman five-star recruit was forced to miss the games against Syracuse and East Tennessee State University, delaying the start to his highly anticipated collegiate career. In his absence, sophomore Shamurad Umarov has worked with the starting offensive line, while freshman Jesse Perry has worked at right tackle. On one hand, Sanders could provide a strong boost to Tennessee's offensive line and help protect quarterback Joey Aguilar. On the other hand, starting a career against Kirby Smart's Bulldog defense is a tall task. Tennessee is looking to snap an eight-game losing streak against Georgia when the two SEC rivals square off on Saturday in Knoxville.
