Tekoah Roby Promoted to Triple-A
Tekoah Roby has been promoted from Double-A Springfield to Triple-A Memphis. Roby, the team's No. 11 prospect per MLB Pipeline, gets the promotion after going 4-2 with a 2.49 ERA, 0.96 WHIP and 57:11 K:BB in 47 innings over 10 starts. The 23-year-old former third-rounder by the Texas Rangers in 2020 only managed 10 total starts last year due a shoulder injury, so it's nice to see him bounce back already in 2025. Roby, who stands at 6-foot-1 and 210 pounds, could make his major-league debut later this season if he impresses at Memphis. He features a fastball, nasty curveball, slider and changeup. It's nice to see him performing well this season, but the Cardinals will likely want to see him get through a whole year healthy before considering him for their rotation in 2026.
