Minnesota Twins outfielder Trevor Larnach went 2-for-4 with a walk, a double, a home run, four RBI, and a run scored in Friday's 11-4 win over the Angels. It was the left-handed hitter's fourth home run of the season, all of which have come in the last seven games after going homer-less in his first 18 contests. The former first-round draft pick is coming off a 15-home run campaign in 2024 after playing a career-high 112 games, and if he can stay in the lineup a bit more in 2025, he's on track to set a new career high in home runs. Through 25 games, the 6-foot-3 slugger is slashing .224/.330/.388 with 13 RBI, 14 runs scored, and a stolen base with a .320 wOBA and 110 wRC+. Unfortunately, Larnach is a career .195 hitter versus left-handed pitching, so he will typically sit against them and can be a frustrating season-long fantasy asset, however, continue to pencil him into DFS lineups against righties while he's hot.--Jarod Rupp - RotoBallerSource: ESPN

Colorado Rockies outfielder Jordan Beck went 2-for-3 with two home runs and two walks in Friday's 8-7 loss to the Cincinnati Reds. Beck blasted a solo shot in the bottom of the third inning for his first homer of the game. He later belted another solo shot in the eighth inning to make it a one-run ball game. Beck's second home run of the game was a towering blast that traveled 437 feet at 107.2 mph. The 24-year-old has now homered five times over his last three games. He is hitting a robust .667 (6-for-9) with five home runs, five RBI, and a stolen base during that three-game span. Overall, Beck is slashing .282/.391/.718 with five home runs, nine RBI, nine runs, and four stolen bases across 15 games. Beck continues to start with Brenton Doyle (personal) out, and fantasy managers should continue to roll with him while he's swinging a hot bat.--Brad Camara - RotoBallerSource: MLB

New Jersey Devils goaltender Jacob Markstrom stopped 25 of 27 shots, leading the team to a 3-2 victory over the Carolina Hurricanes in double overtime on Friday night. Markstrom let a 2-0 lead slip in the third period as Carolina scored two power-play goals. However, he was then forced into only three saves before Simon Nemec ended the contest with 2:36 played in the second overtime. Prior to Friday night, Markstrom had lost four consecutive starts since his last few outings in the regular season. He is now 1-2 in these playoffs, with a 2.08 goals-against average and a .929 save percentage. While the Devils have benefited from excellent goaltending by Markstrom, they need to generate more offense to keep pace with Carolina in the series.--Taavi Pailk - RotoBallerSource: ESPN

Montreal Canadiens winger Cole Caufield recorded two points in Friday's 6-3 victory over the Washington Capitals. He potted his second postseason goal late in the second period to give Montreal a 3-2 lead and assisted Juraj Slafkovsky on the team's fifth goal in the third frame. It was a shooting barrage throughout the night from Caufield, who had 11 of the team's 35 shots on Washington's net. Overall, the young forward has generated 19 shots on goal in the postseason, picking up three points (two goals, one assist) in as many games. Montreal will need Caufield to maintain his form to battle back from a 2-1 deficit in the series.--Taavi Pailk - RotoBallerSource: ESPN

Edmonton Oilers center Connor McDavid finished Friday's 7-4 victory over the Los Angeles Kings with three points, scoring an empty-net goal and registering two even-strength assists. McDavid became the fourth player in franchise history to record 20 three-point playoff games, joining Wayne Gretzky (39), Jari Kurri (26), and Mark Messier (22). It was an impressive bounce-back performance from the Oilers captain after he was held scoreless in Game 2. Edmonton trails in the series 2-1, but McDavid has once again crushed it in the postseason, recording two goals and seven assists in three games.--Taavi Pailk - RotoBallerSource: ESPN

New Jersey Devils defenseman Johnathan Kovacevic (undisclosed) did not finish Friday's Game 3 against the Carolina Hurricanes. He logged only 6:00 of ice time in a 3-2 double-overtime win and did not see any action after the first period. The 27-year-old recorded one shot on goal and two penalty minutes with a plus-one rating. Overall, Kovacevic has a minus-one rating across the series with two shots and eight hits. If Kovacevic cannot play in Sunday's Game 4, the Devils will likely turn to Dennis Cholowski or Seamus Casey.--Taavi Pailk - RotoBallerSource: NHL.com

Kansas City Royals right-hander Seth Lugo (2-3) allowed three hits and a walk while striking out eight across eight scoreless innings in Friday's 2-0 win over the Houston Astros. He picked up his second win of the season. The 35-year-old was efficient on Friday, needing just 94 pitches for eight innings of work. He landed 65 of 94 pitches for strikes and posted a season-high eight strikeouts to secure his second win of the year. The veteran right-hander has allowed just two runs or less in each of his last five starts. Overall, Lugo owns a 3.08 ERA, 1.08 WHIP, and a 29:12 K:BB across 38 innings in 2025. He will look to build on Friday's impressive performance in his next scheduled start on Thursday against the Tampa Bay Rays.--Brad Camara - RotoBallerSource: MLB

Montreal Canadiens goaltender Sam Montembeault (lower body) was forced to exit Game 3 against the Washington Capitals early on Friday. He gave up the crease to Jakub Dobes in the middle of the second period due to a lower-body injury. The night ended with 11 saves on 13 shots for Montembeault. Dobes helped Montreal secure a 6-3 win, allowing one goal on eight shots. The Canadiens must rely on Dobes again if Montembeault doesn't recover in time for Sunday's Game 4. The 23-year-old turned heads during the regular season, posting a 7-4-3 record with a 2.74 goals-against average, a .909 save percentage, and one shutout.--Taavi Pailk - RotoBallerSource: ESPN

Washington Capitals goaltender Logan Thompson suffered an apparent left leg injury in Friday's Game 3 against the Montreal Canadiens. He was forced to leave the contest with 6:37 remaining in regulation after a collision with teammate Dylan Strome. Following an outstanding start to the series, Thompson had a bad night on Friday, allowing five goals on 35 shots. His replacement, Charlie Lindgren, gave up one goal on five shots in the final few minutes. Thompson, who went 31-6-6 during the regular season, must recover by Sunday to avoid missing additional time. His absence would be a blow for Washington, although Lindgren is a capable replacement. He finished the regular season with a 20-14-3 record.--Taavi Pailk - RotoBallerSource: ESPN

Philadelphia Phillies left-hander Cristopher Sanchez (forearm) is scheduled to throw a bullpen session on Sunday. He felt fine after playing catch during pregame warmups on Friday. The 28-year-old was removed from Tuesday's start early due to forearm soreness after just 58 pitches. He is not scheduled for an MRI or additional testing and could avoid being on the injured list altogether. Sanchez will not make his next start against the Washington Nationals on Tuesday, and it is to be determined when he will take the mound next. Phillies ace Zack Wheeler will start in place of Sanchez on Tuesday. Sanchez owns a (2-1) record with a 3.42 ERA, 1.29 WHIP, and 33 strikeouts over 26 1/3 innings in 2025.--Brad Camara - RotoBallerSource: Corey Seidman

Tampa Bay Lightning winger Brandon Hagel has been suspended for one game. The NHL Department of Player Safety announced Hagel's suspension on Friday night for "an extremely forceful body check to an unsuspecting opponent" that injured Florida Panthers forward Aleksander Barkov. As a result of the suspension, Hagel will be forced to sit out Saturday's Game 3 of the first-round series between the Lightning and Panthers. This is Hagel's first suspension in 375 regular-season and 36 playoff games. The 26-year-old had an outstanding 90-point year this season, but has been held scoreless in the first two postseason contests. Conor Geekie and Yanni Gourde are potential candidates to move up in the lineup to fill in for Hagel in the top six.--Taavi Pailk - RotoBallerSource: ESPN

Seattle Mariners right-hander Logan Gilbert (forearm) was pulled from his start early on Friday in an eventual 8-4 loss to the visiting Miami Marlins at T-Mobile Park with right-forearm tightness, the team announced. Gilbert made it through three hitless and scoreless innings with no walks and three strikeouts before coming out. It's a scary situation for the Mariners and Gilbert, who is one of the best pitchers in all of baseball when he's healthy. For now, we'll consider him day-to-day until we know more about the severity of his injury, but fantasy managers need to keep a close eye on the situation. At the very least, there's a good chance he will have to miss his next start. The former first-rounder in 2018 out of Stetson University came into his sixth start of the year on Friday with a 2.63 ERA and 0.88 WHIP with 41 strikeouts in 27 1/3 innings pitched.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBallerSource: Mariners PR

The Minnesota Vikings have selected Maryland wide receiver Tai Felton with the 102nd pick in the 2025 NFL Draft. This selection represented the final pick of the third round and officially marked the end of Day 2. Felton developed into a talented draft prospect over four seasons at Maryland, culminating with a senior campaign in which he caught 96 passes for 1,124 yards and nine touchdowns. Minnesota already has Justin Jefferson and Jordan Addison leading its wide receiver room, so Felton will merely offer valuable depth. He's a solid developmental piece who could ultimately compete with Jalen Nailor and Rondale Moore for the No. 3 receiver role.--Andersen Pickard - RotoBallerSource: Connor Hughes

The Seattle Seahawks have selected Alabama quarterback Jalen Milroe with the 92nd overall pick in the 2025 NFL Draft. He becomes the fourth quarterback selected in this draft. Milroe is the only FBS player with 30-plus passing touchdowns and 30-plus rushing touchdowns from 2023-2024. He threw for 5,678 yards, 39 touchdowns, and 17 interceptions while rushing for 1,257 yards and 32 touchdowns over the last two seasons. The 22-year-old has a cannon for an arm and is an exceptional athlete, but he needs to improve his accuracy as a passer. He will start off the 2025 season as the third-string quarterback behind Sam Darnold and Drew Lock. Milroe is ranked 38th overall as a rookie but is more of a dynasty stash for now as a backup for Seattle.--Brad Camara - RotoBallerSource: Seattle Seahawks

The Packers added another top receiver in the 2025 NFL Draft by selecting Savion Williams in the third round with the 87th overall pick after taking Matthew Golden in Round 1. Williams is a versatile playmaker who had a receiving, rushing, and passing touchdown last year with TCU. He is a solid receiver but also starred as the team's wildcat quarterback at times last year. He ran for six touchdowns and caught six more scores. He lined up in the backfield, out wide, and in the slot. The Packers could utilize him all over the formation in a role similar to Deebo Samuel Sr. or Cordarrelle Patterson. He'll be an interesting name to track in camp and preseason to see how the Packers incorporate his skill set into their growing offense.--Zach Thompson - RotoBallerSource: NFL.com

The Steelers used the 83rd pick in the 2025 NFL Draft to add Iowa running back Kaleb Johnson in the third round. He had a solid year with the Hawkeyes despite their struggles on offense, totaling 1,537 rushing yards and 21 rushing touchdowns on 240 attempts and adding 188 more yards and two touchdowns on 22 receptions out of the backfield. Johnson was a consensus All-American and a finalist for the Doak Walker Award as the top running back in the nation. This year, he'll team up with Jaylen Warren, who signed his restricted free agent tender, and Kenneth Gainwell to make up the primary options in the Steelers' backfield after the departure of Najee Harris to the Chargers. Johnson could replace Harris as the team's short-yardage, bigger back in the rotation.--Zach Thompson - RotoBallerSource: NFL.com

The Denver Broncos have selected Illinois wide receiver Pat Bryant with the 74th overall pick in the NFL Draft. He was projected to go on Day 3 but was taken by Denver in Round 3 on Friday. The 6-foot-2 wide receiver has strong hands and is a big, possessive wideout who is a reliable blocker. Bryant tied for the Big Ten lead with 10 receiving touchdowns and racked up 54 catches for 984 receiving yards for Illinois last season. He will compete with Marvin Mims Jr., Devaughn Vele, and Troy Franklin to start opposite Denver's No.1 wideout, Courtland Sutton. Bryant is ranked as RotoBaller's 67th overall rookie. He could provide some fantasy value as a late-round flyer in redraft leagues in 2025 if he can secure the Broncos' No. 2 wide receiver role.--Brad Camara - RotoBallerSource: Denver Broncos

The Houston Texans have selected Iowa State wide receiver Jaylin Noel with the 79th overall pick in the 2025 NFL Draft. The Texans ultimately decided to double up on Cyclone wide receivers after taking Noel's teammate, Jayden Higgins, in the second round. Although most people did not expect the Texans to draft two wide receivers on Day 2, the decision makes sense. Houston lost Stefon Diggs during free agency, and Tank Dell (knee) likely won't be ready for Week 1 as he recovers from a brutal ACL tear. Noel and Higgins will team up alongside Nico Collins and offseason addition Christian Kirk, providing major reinforcements to support C.J. Stroud in the passing game.--Andersen Pickard - RotoBallerSource: Aaron Wilson

The Detroit Lions moved around on the draft board on Friday in Round 2 and Round 3, ultimately trading back up to take wide receiver Isaac TeSlaa out of Arkansas at No. 70 overall. The Michigan native profiles as a big slot option and has the size, ball skills, and physicality to be a potential mismatch in the Lions' creative scheme. He could have a hard time making an immediate fantasy impact as a rookie since the Lions have so many playmakers already on offense. He only had 28 catches for 546 yards and three touchdowns last season, but he has the raw elements to be a productive option in the Lions' passing game if the workload is available. This landing spot in Detroit makes him more of a sleeper to watch than someone to target as a rookie.--Zach Thompson - RotoBallerSource: NFL.com

Texas Rangers starting pitcher Jack Leiter (hand) will be activated off the injured list and rejoin the starting rotation on Sunday. The right-hander is scheduled to take the ball against the San Francisco Giants on Sunday. There was some speculation that Leiter would take the spot of Kumar Rocker (shoulder) and pitch on Monday. That doesn't appear to be the plan, so maybe Patrick Corbin gets moved into Rocker's spot for Monday's game. Regardless, Leiter is returning and will hopefully continue to pitch like he was before the injury. Leiter has thrown 10 innings, allowing six hits, one earned run, and recorded 10 strikeouts in two starts.--Andy Webb - RotoBallerSource: Evan Grant

The Patriots added a receiver early in the third round by selecting Kyle Williams from Washington State with the No. 69 overall pick in the 2025 NFL Draft. After addressing other needs in the first two rounds, the Pats snagged Williams, who has many advanced analytics that are as strong as the other receivers at the top of the class. He has great ability after the catch and broke out as a fifth-year senior last year with 70 catches for 1,196 yards and 14 touchdowns in the Cougars pass-heavy offense. He's 5'11" but has true 4.4 speed. His big-play ability should immediately make him one of Drake Maye's most explosive options in the offense, and he could develop into the team's WR2 behind Stefon Diggs as early as this season.--Zach Thompson - RotoBallerSource: NFL.com

The Cleveland Browns have selected Bowling Green tight end Harold Fannin Jr. with the 67th overall pick in the 2025 NFL Draft. Fannin was born and raised in Canton, Ohio, a fitting home for the Browns' latest addition. He was phenomenal in his senior season at Bowling Green, catching 117 passes for 1,555 yards. Not only did these numbers place him atop the MAC, but they led all of FBS, too. He added 10 touchdowns along the way. Cleveland has David Njoku at tight end, but they're in need of major offensive reinforcements and will still benefit from adding a dominant pass-catcher like Fannin.--Andersen Pickard - RotoBallerSource: Ari Meirov

Milwaukee Brewers outfielder Garrett Mitchell (oblique) has been removed early during Friday's game against the St. Louis Cardinals. It's unclear how Mitchell suffered the injury, but he was taken out in the fourth inning due to oblique tightness. This is sometimes a tricky injury, so it wouldn't be shocking to see Mitchell land on the injured list. The assumption is the Brewers will do further testing to determine the significance of the injury. For now, fantasy managers should consider Mitchell as day-to-day until more information is revealed.--Andy Webb - RotoBallerSource: Todd Rosiak

Minnesota Twins infielder Luke Keaschall (hand) was removed early during Friday's game against the Los Angeles Angels. Keaschall was hit on the hand by a pitch during the first inning of this contest. He stayed in to run the bases, but was replaced by Mickey Gasper at the designated hitter spot after that. The assumption is that Keaschall will undergo imaging to determine the severity of the injury. The organization should give an update on his status shortly.--Andy Webb - RotoBallerSource: Dan Hayes

Los Angeles Dodgers starting pitcher Blake Snell (shoulder) recently was shut down from throwing after experiencing discomfort in his shoulder. The southpaw underwent an MRI, but it didn't reveal anything new. That being said, the Dodgers plan to give Snell an injection to hopefully calm down the inflammation in his shoulder. After that, Snell will begin a throwing program before possibly doing a few rehab starts. It sounds like Snell has avoided any major injuries. His timetable to return is unclear, but the hope is that he'll return at some point in May.--Andy Webb - RotoBallerSource: Alden Gonzalez

Kansas City Royals starting pitcher Cole Ragans (groin) was forced to exit early from Thursday's start against the Colorado Rockies. On Friday, Royals' manager Matt Quatraro announced that Ragans is dealing with a mild groin strain. He continued by saying that Ragans feels better, but the team will monitor him over the next few days. It's unclear at the moment if Ragans will be able to take the ball against the Tampa Bay Rays on Tuesday. It sounds like he might be able to avoid a trip to the injured list, but that all depends on how the next few days go for Ragans. Fantasy managers will need to monitor his status over the next couple of days.--Andy Webb - RotoBallerSource: Jaylon Thompson
