Jaguars Down To Five Finalists For GM Job
Josh Williams, Los Angeles Rams director of scouting strategy James Gladstone, Chicago Bears assistant general manager Ian Cunningham, Green Bay Packers vice president of player personnel Jon-Eric Sullivan and current Jaguars interim GM Ethan Waugh. Jacksonville is expected to hire a new GM b the end of the week. The Jaguars are searching for a new GM after firing Trent Baalke following the 2024 season, which was believed to be directly related to how he handled their head-coaching search. Jacksonville eventually hired former Tampa Bay Buccaneers offensive coordinator Liam Coen, but only after firing Baalke and preventing Coen from returning to the Bucs.

Seven More Accusations Of Inappropriate Sexual Behavior Against Justin Tucker
Justin Tucker of inappropriate sexual behavior, bringing the total to 16 women at eight Baltimore-area spas that have thrown accusations his way. This situation looks awfully similar to Cleveland Browns quarterback Deshaun Watson's, when he was suspended 11 games and fined $5 million in 2022 after allegations of sexual misconduct by more than two dozen women who claimed Watson committed sexual misconduct during massage-therapy sessions. It's unclear what will play out with Tucker in Baltimore, but considering he's also coming off the worst season in his career in 2024, it's possible the Ravens could outright cut him this offseason to avoid any further headaches. At the very least, Tucker could be heading for a lengthy suspension in 2025 if he sticks with the organization.

Buffalo Bills director of player personnel Terrance Gray was scheduled to interview for the Jacksonville Jaguars' general manager job on Wednesday, a source told CBS Sports' Josina Anderson. In addition to the Jaguars, Gray also interviewed for the open GM job with the Tennessee Titans this offseason while making it to the second round of interviews. He also spoke with the Los Angeles Chargers and Las Vegas Raiders last year while declining a meeting with the New England Patriots. Buffalo hired Gray as director of college scouting in 2017 when Brandon Beane first became the GM. He was promoted to assistant director of player personnel in 2020 before being promoted to his current role in 2022. Patriots Have League-High $110 Million In Salary Cap Space
Tee Higgins $30 million a year while also upgrading their offensive line. Although he had an up-and-down rookie year, quarterback Drake Maye has a chance to develop into a star moving forward, especially if the Patriots give him more help in the passing game. Having the No. 4 overall pick in the 2024 NFL draft will also help New England's cause as they look to add immediate playmakers.

ESPN's Adam Schefter writes that the New England Patriots will be a team to closely follow this offseason, mainly because they have a league-high $110 million in salary cap space. They'll have plenty of financial flexibility to upgrade a roster that needs to improve at almost every position as Mike Vrabel takes over head-coaching duties. Matthew Wright Signs Reserve/Future Contract With Panthers
Matthew Wright to a reserve/future contract on Tuesday, which is a one-year, non-guaranteed contract that allows players to participate in offseason activities and compete for a roster spot. Wright has spent time with nine NFL organizations, and this is the third time he has signed with Carolina. Overall, the UCF product has connected on 55 of his 63 field goal attempts and 41 of his 43 extra point tries across 21 games with the Steelers, Jaguars, Chiefs, Panthers, 49ers, and Titans. Current Panthers starting kicker Eddy Pineiro ranks third all-time in career field goal percentage (88.095%), so it would be a surprise if Wright wins the job over him this offseason.

Jake Elliott Delivers Flawless Kicks In Super Bowl Win
Jake Elliott went 4-for-4 on field goals and 4-for-4 on extra points during Sunday's Super Bowl win over the Kansas City Chiefs. Although Elliott was very shaky from beyond 50 yards during the regular season, he seemed to have no trouble with distance this Sunday, converting from 29, 48, 48, and 50 yards out. Furthermore, most of his attempts went straight down the middle and had plenty of distance to spare. Those who stuck with Elliott through his 2024 woes were brave souls, and the investment paid off with Elliott's busy night on Sunday.

Titans Could Trade Out Of Top Pick In NFL Draft
Will Levis another shot in 2025, or they could add a free-agent option such as Sam Darnold or Justin Fields. If the Titans aren't absolutely sold on one of the top QBs in this year's class, they could be better off seeing what other teams will offer while focusing on other extensive needs on their roster first. And if they trade back to somewhere between picks No. 2-7, they could still land a cornerstone player and be in a position to address their QB need in next year's draft. If the Titans don't trade out of the No. 1 spot, most folks believe they will be taking either Miami QB Cam Ward or Colorado QB Shedeur Sanders.

Jake Elliott’s Accuracy Concerns Loom Large
Jake Elliott will need to be at his best against the Kansas City Chiefs in Super Bowl LIX, but recent struggles raise concerns. Elliott finished the regular season with a solid 28-for-36 mark on field goals and nearly perfect extra-point accuracy (47-for-48). However, his issues from long range were evident, going just 1-for-7 on attempts from 50-plus yards. His postseason performance has been mixed, making six of seven field goals but missing three extra points -- an uncharacteristic trend that could be costly in a close game. Given how tight Super Bowl matchups can be, every point matters. If the game comes down to a clutch kick, the Eagles will need Elliott to shake off his recent inconsistencies.

Harrison Butker To Continue Super Bowl Success
Harrison Butker will face the Philadelphia Eagles in the Super Bowl this weekend. Butker will be making his fifth Super Bowl appearance on Sunday, and he performed well in his previous outings. The Chiefs kicker has attempted 10 field goals in the last game of the season and nailed nine. Butker has also made all 10 extra-point attempts in the Super Bowl. Regardless of the pace of play, the Chiefs kicker should make his mark on this contest. The 29-year-old has been a clutch performer in Super Bowls for Kansas City, notably nailing a kick in the final seconds of regulation to send the game to overtime. The opportunity to impact the game will be offered to Butker and it will be up to him to deliver. Butker is a good pick in DFS and playoff leagues, especially given his consistency compared to Jake Elliot.
