The Browns already agreed to a blockbuster trade with the Jacksonville Jaguars at the top of the first round on Thursday that moved them from the No. 2 pick to No. 5, where they selected Michigan defensive tackle Mason Graham. Cleveland has more reason to trade back in the second round after acquiring the No. 36 overall pick from the Jaguars on Thursday. The Kansas City Chiefs have traded the 31st pick in the 2025 NFL Draft to the Philadelphia Eagles in exchange for the 32nd and 164th overall picks. After losing some key defensive players in free agency, the Eagles moved up a spot in the draft to select Alabama linebacker Jihaad Campbell at pick 31.

The Los Angeles Rams have traded the No. 26 pick in the 2025 NFL Draft to the Atlanta Falcons in exchange for the 46th pick, 242nd pick, and a first-round pick in the 2026 NFL Draft. The Rams also moved the 101st overall pick in the deal. With the third trade of the night, the Falcons moved up to select Tennessee defensive end James Pearce Jr.

NFL Network's Ian Rapoport lists the Carolina Panthers, Miami Dolphins, Tampa Bay Buccaneers and Seattle Seahawks as some teams open to/discussing trading back in the first round of the 2025 NFL draft on Thursday night. The Miami Herald's Omar Kelly reports that the Miami Dolphins have called multiple teams ahead of the first round of the 2025 NFL draft on Thursday night to let them know that they are willing to trade down out of the No. 13 overall pick, depending on how the board falls. It has been the norm for the Dolphins while general manager Chris Grier has been with the franchise. Going into last year's draft, Grier had made more trades since 2019 than any other executive. The Dolphins are attempting to land more picks in the second round on Friday night as they look to beef up their offensive and defensive lines and their secondary, specifically. As things stand right now, Miami has only two picks in Rounds 2 and 3 combined, so don't be surprised if they trade out of the first round entirely on Thursday night.

The Athletic's Dianna Russini reports that the Jacksonville Jaguars, who own the No. 5 overall pick, and the Las Vegas Raiders (No. 6) have both expressed interest in moving up at the top of the first round if the player they want is available, according to sources. Russini was told that the Jaguars are hoping to keep this year's draft "electric" with first-year head coach Liam Coen and first-year general manager James Gladstone, and they are looking for an offensive player (

According to ESPN Ravens reporter Jamison Hensley, the Baltimore Ravens have "invested countless hours" into scouting kickers ahead of the 2025 NFL Draft. There is uncertainty surrounding All-Pro kicker
Justin Tucker, given a slew of sexual-misconduct accusations this offseason, so Baltimore is doing their homework at the position. Ravens general manager Eric DeCosta said he's open to picking a kicker at some point in next week's draft, but it is not a certainty. "It is worth [using a draft pick on a kicker] if you have the right kicker," DeCosta said. "It just depends on the board, it depends on the player, it depends on who's there and it depends on how your coaches see him. The Indianapolis Colts released kicker
Matt Gay on Thursday, just two seasons after signing him to a big free-agent deal, according to The 33rd Team's Ari Meirov. In his time with the Colts, Gay went 64-for-78 on his field-goal attempts (11-for-22 from 50-plus yards) and made 68 of his 69 extra-point attempts in 33 games. The 31-year-old signed a four-year, $22.5 million deal with Indy before the 2023 season. Gay made 31 of his 37 field-goal tries in 16 regular-season games last year, including only three of his nine attempts from 50-plus yards. While he was pretty consistent in his time with the Colts, it appears his success rate from long range wasn't good enough to keep him around.
Spencer Shrader is currently the kicker on the team's roster, but they'll likely add competition for him heading into training camp this summer.

San Francisco 49ers head coach Kyle Shanahan said this week that the team plans to bring in a veteran kicker "who's capable of taking that job" to compete with
Jake Moody this offseason. The 49ers would love to see Moody win the competition and come out motivated for a strong season in 2025 after struggling through a high-ankle sprain in 2024. The 25-year-old made just 70.6 percent of his 34 field-goal attempts in 14 games (4-for-9 from 50-plus yards) in his second year in the NFL after making 84 percent of his 25 field-goal tries in his rookie year. The former third-round pick in the 2023 NFL draft out of the University of Michigan certainly has the skills to bounce back in 2025 if he's healthy, and if he does, he should be in play as a top-12 fantasy kicker.

If the Tennessee Titans have indeed fallen in love with Miami quarterback Cam Ward, they may be unwilling to consider any trade offers for the first overall pick in this year's NFL draft. "I was taught over the years, if you find the quarterback that you want, and you think he's a franchise quarterback, then you're not going to pass on him," general manager Mike Borgonzi said. While Borgonzi isn't ruling anything out, he also said the Titans might not be open for business when teams come calling for the start of the first round on Thursday, April 24. The Athletic's Dianna Russini doesn't sense there's conviction yet for the Titans on what they want to do with the No. 1 overall pick, but regardless, Ward is considered the likely top pick this year. If they don't trade out of the top pick, Paul Kuharsky believes a trade of their second-round selection (35th overall) might be more likely.
