Nick Foligno Remains In Chicago On One-Year Deal
1 year agoChicago Blackhawks winger Nick Foligno has signed a one-year extension worth $4 million. He was set to become an unrestricted free agent before committing his future to the Blackhawks. Foligno arrived in the Windy City at the start of the week from Boston alongside Taylor Hall. The 35-year-old will provide good veteran presence for a young rebuilding team while skating in a bottom-six role. Foligno averaged 0.43 points per game last season, but his offensive productivity will likely drop after the trade, as there is a lot less talent surrounding him in Chicago.
