Luis Arraez Injures Leg Wednesday Night
2 years agoMiami Marlins second baseman Luis Arraez (leg) left Wednesday night's game against the Colorado Rockies as a precaution with a left-leg cramp. Before departing early, Arraez went 1-for-3 with a double, two RBI and one run scored in the eventual 10-2 win over the Rockies. It doesn't sound like a serious injury for the 26-year-old, so fantasy managers should consider him day-to-day for now. Still, be prepared for him to rest as a precaution in a matinee game on Thursday to close out the series against Colorado on the road. When healthy, Arraez is an absolute must-start in fantasy, as he came into Wednesday's game with a league-leading .371 average (62-for-167) with 10 doubles, a triple, home run, 16 RBI and 16 runs scored in 45 games played in his first year in Miami.
