LeSean McCoy Has Grade 2 Ankle Sprain
4 years agoTampa Bay Buccaneers running back LeSean McCoy (ankle) suffered a Grade 2 ankle sprain in the Week 4 win over the Chargers, according to a source. The injury will most likely keep him out of Thursday night's matchup against the Bears in Week 5. Consider McCoy week-to-week for now. Shady just hasn't been much of a factor in Tampa in a backfield that also includes Leonard Fournette, Ronald Jones II and rookie Ke'Shawn Vaughn. In four games this year, McCoy has two carries for minus-two yards and nine catches on 13 targets for 55 yards. Fournette sat out of Week 4 with an injury, allowing the rookie Vaughn to catch two passes for 22 yards and his first touchdown. Vaughn will have some deep-league PPR appeal with McCoy out in the short term, especially if Fournette misses another game, too.
