Chicago Bears Pro Bowl pass-rusher Khalil Mack (foot) is not expected to play in Week 8 against the San Francisco 49ers, and a stint on Injured Reserve is not out of the question in order to allow his foot another three games to heal. Mack first injured his foot in a Week 3 loss to the Cleveland Browns and has been playing in pain ever since. Despite the injury, he has six sacks, which rank him tied for seventh in the NFL. But in the Week 7 loss to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, the star pass-rusher was held without a sack for the first time since the season opener, and he had just one tackle on 52 defensive snaps. Mack has been extremely durable in his career, as the 2018 season was the only year that he's missed a start over seven-plus seasons. Mack's absence will be good news for the Niners offense this Sunday.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBallerRead More News
