Former Tampa Bay Buccaneers second-rounder Justin Evans, who spent the last two years out of football while recovering from a torn Achilles, signed an undisclosed one-year deal on Monday to play safety for the New Orleans Saints, according to his agent, Kevin Conner. Evans is now healthy and ready to play, but he hasn't played in an NFL game since 2018. The 26-year-old from Texas A&M has 125 tackles (93 solo), three tackles for loss, four interceptions, eight passes defensed and a fumble recovery for a touchdown in 24 games (21 starts) in his two seasons with the Buccaneers in 2017 and 2018. It will be interesting to see what kind of role Evans can carve out in New Orleans if he's fully healthy.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBallerRead More News
