Jimmy Nelson Struggles in 2019 Debut
6 years agoIn his first MLB start since September 2017, Milwaukee Brewers starting pitcher Jimmy Nelson allowed four hits and four earned runs with three walks and two strikeouts over three innings against the Marlins. Nelson was sidelined the entire 2018 season after undergoing shoulder surgery. The last time we saw Nelson, 2017, he was an exceptional pitcher. He went 12-6 with a 3.49 ERA in 2017. However, the road back has been a long one for Nelson and while he's an interesting stash in deep leagues, he can be left on waivers in most leagues until we see some signs of pre-injury Nelson start to develop.
