The Jacksonville Jaguars re-signed cornerback Sidney Jones to an undisclosed deal on Tuesday, according to a source. Jones played in nine games last year (six starts) and played at a high level for the team's secondary. A second-round pick by the Philadelphia Eagles in 2017, Jones signed to the Jaguars practice squad in September after being released. He joined the team's active roster in mid-September and moved into the starting lineup in Week 5. The 24-year-old registered 25 tackles and a career-high nine passes defensed, two interceptions and a forced fumble in 2020. Jacksonville also re-signed cornerback Tre Herndon last week and also re-signed veteran guard/center Tyler Shatley. In addition to Herndon and Jones, the Jags brought in former Seahawks cornerback Shaquill Griffin.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBallerRead More News
