Jacob deGrom Solid Over Four Innings
5 years agoNew York Mets starting pitcher Jacob deGrom threw four solid innings on Wednesday against the Cardinals in Grapefruit League action. deGrom retired the first 10 batters he faced in order. He finished the day allowing just one hit, one earned run, and three strikeouts in his four innings of work, lowering his spring ERA to 1.29. deGrom is coming off of an NL Cy Young award season in which he posted an 11-8 record, 2.43 ERA and 0.97 WHIP with 255 strikeouts in 204 IP. He is currently the second pitcher off of most boards with an ADP of 8.07. deGrom is a lock-down SP1 in all formats who can provide 200 K's and league-leading ratios.
