Isaiah Bond in Line for More Opportunities Amidst Injuries
Cleveland Browns rookie wide receiver Isaiah Bond is not exactly a household name, but with the Browns' wide receiver room wrought with injuries, he should line up as the team's WR2 in Week 15 against the Chicago Bears. Since fellow rookie quarterback Shedeur Sanders took over in Week 12, Bond has seen just two targets each game from his 50.5% route participation rate. However, when his route participation is at or above the 60%-mark, which we expect him to exceed this week. Bond has earned an average of five targets per game. Fellow wide receivers Cedric Tillman (concussion, ribs) and Malachi Corley (concussion) are still in the league's concussion protocol after sustaining injuries in Week 14 and are questionable headed into the weekend. Fantasy managers should temper expectations, especially given the poor weather forecast for Chicago. Still, Bond is likely to benefit from increased snap share and routes run, making him a very-deep league desperation option for the first week in fantasy playoffs.
