Per Dan Salomone of Giants.com, the New York Giants have signed rookie third-round pick defensive lineman Darius Alexander to a four-year contract. The financial details were not disclosed. Alexander is the sixth of seven rookies to sign their deal with New York. The 24-year-old didn't produce much during his time at Toledo, but he's uber-athletic for his frame and could be a nice rotational piece for the Giants' defensive line. Despite being drafted as a defensive tackle, he's currently listed second on the depth chart (unofficially) behind Roy Robertson-Harris at defensive end. New York sports one of the more loaded edge-rush units in the league, and a deep room of fresh legs can only boost their chances to be a dominant group. They posted the ninth-most sacks in the league as a team in 2024 (45).--Alex Ciulla
