6 years agoThe Washington Nationals signed free-agent outfielder Gerardo Parra to an undisclosed major league deal on Wednesday. The veteran outfielder was cut by the Giants after posting a slash line of .198/.278/.267 with a homer, six RBI and two stolen bases in 30 games for San Fran. At best, he'll provide his new team with outfield depth in the short term. Parra is unlikely to see much playing time and won't even be that attractive in NL-only leagues, especially with Juan Soto (back) expected to return from the injured list this weekend.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
