Dylan Cease Strikes Out 10 In No-Decision
2 years agoChicago White Sox starting pitcher Dylan Cease was dominant on Opening Day on Thursday against the reigning World Series-champion Houston Astros. Cease picked up a no-decision while allowing only one run on two hits while walking none and striking out 10 in 6 1/3 innings for a quality start in the eventual 3-2 win. The 27-year-old right-hander missed plenty of bats and tied the franchise record for most strikeouts on Opening Day. It looks like he has picked up right where he left off in 2022, when he finished second in the American League Cy Young voting. Cease is a must-start in all fantasy formats when he's scheduled to start.
