Although Suárez did finish in the top ten in both of his Loudon starts as a rookie, he has never led here, and his only other top ten came in 2022, a year when he was much more relevant than he has been recently. Given Toyota's recent dominance on short superspeedways and Ford's dominance in qualifying yesterday, a lame duck driver for Trackhouse Racing's second-tier Chevy operation will likely not do well, especially when the team is nearly entirely focused on advancing Ross Chastain in the playoffs.
