The Detroit Lions are signing cornerback Desmond Trufant to a two-year, $21 million deal on Wednesday, according to a source. The deal contains $14 million in guarantees. Trufant is on the back end of his career and will turn 30 this September, but the former first-round pick of the Falcons in 2013 will bring a veteran presence to a Lions secondary. He was a Pro Bowler in 2015 but played in just nine games last season, tallying 18 tackles (13 solo) and four interceptions. Trufant has 13 career interceptions in 97 games played, all with Atlanta.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
