Daniel Jones Estimated As A Limited Practice Participant
4 years agoThe New York Giants didn't practice on Thursday, but quarterback Daniel Jones (ankle, hamstring) was estimated as a limited practice participant. Tight end Kaden Smith (knee) was also added to the injury report and was estimated to get in a limited practice as well. Jones' status for Sunday night against the Browns is undecided, and it could come down to a game-time decision, making him easily a QB to avoid for fantasy managers. It's especially true after the second-year signal-caller returned last week and looked pretty bad while taking six sacks against the Cardinals. Even when Jones has been healthy, New York's offense has had trouble moving the ball consistently. Backup Colt McCoy is nothing more than a game manager and would be a low-end QB2 desperation play in superflex leagues if he gets another start against his former team.
