Browns Doing Due Diligence on Isaiah Bond

Updating a previous report, the Cleveland Browns are doing their due diligence on former Texas wide receiver Isaiah Bond, who went undrafted this year because of a sexual-assault charge that was no-billed on Thursday, according to Mary Kay Cabot of The Cleveland Plain Dealer. Bond said that he has signed with the Browns, but that's not official and will not happen on Thursday, according to a source. The 21-year-old wideout won't face criminal charges after being arrested in April, but it doesn't necessarily mean the NFL won't hand him a suspension. He caught 34 passes for 540 yards and five touchdowns in 14 games with the Longhorns last year.
