Seattle Seahawks defensive tackle Damon Harrison asked for his release after learning that he'd be inactive in Week 16 against the division-rival Rams, and the team plans to grant his wish next week, according to sources. The Seahawks have enjoyed their time with Harrison and hopes he has a change of heart, but it seems as though he has his mind made up. Harrison would go on waivers and would be eligible to be claimed by another team for interior defensive line help.
