Long-time, respected defensive tackle Corey Peters officially announced his retirement on Thursday after a 12-year career that included long stints with the Atlanta Falcons and Arizona Cardinals. The 34-year-old veteran was originally a third-round selection by the Falcons in 2010 out of Kentucky. He spent the first five years of his career in Atlanta before spending six years in the desert with the Cardinals. Peters played in 12 games (three starts) with the Jacksonville Jaguars in 2022 and finished with 20 tackles (11 solo) and five tackles for loss. All in all, Peters will end his NFL career with 336 tackles (214 solo), 19 sacks, 55 tackles for loss, 40 QB hits, one interception, 10 pass breakups, one forced fumble and three fumble recoveries (one returned for a touchdown).--Keith Hernandez - RotoBallerRead More News
