After years of mediocrity at Loudon, Chris Buescher finally got his first good finish here last year when he finished fifth, but Buescher has not seemed to have as much speed in his fastest races as he did the last two years or arguably even 2022 as well. Although his 15th-place qualifying run matches his best at the track last year, the fact that he's been slower this year suggests this is not a good year to bet on him at what is not one of his best tracks. He could benefit from Ford's possibly dominant speed, but he only ranked 19th in practice and 20th in average speed as it appears that the Penske cars and the other RFK cars are faster than him. Despite him consistently somehow finishing better than he runs this year, he's probably not worth starting at Loudon.--Sean Wrona - RotoBaller
