3 years agoThe Arizona Cardinals activated linebacker Chandler Jones and defensive lineman Zach Allen from the Reserve/COVID-19 list on Monday. Jones will return after missing the last two games after testing positive for the virus, but the 31-year-old pass-rusher will be available for a showdown against the Green Bay Packers and quarterback Aaron Rodgers on Thursday night in Week 8. Jones remains a boom/bust IDP commodity. He had five sacks, six solo tackles (four for loss), six QB hits and two forced fumbles in the Week 1 win over the Tennessee Titans but then had only three solo tackles (one for loss) and a fumble recovery in the next four games. Arizona's defense will be stronger with Jones in the lineup, and they could be a sneaky play this Thursday with Packers star wideout Davante Adams unlikely to play after he was put on the COVID-19 list.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
