Carlton Davis Questionable For Buccaneers Defense
3 years agoTampa Bay Buccaneers cornerback Carlton Davis (hamstring) was added to the team's injury report on Friday, and he's now questionable for Week 2 against the Atlanta Falcons after practicing in a limited fashion. Outside linebacker Jason Pierre-Paul (hand) missed practice for the second straight day on Friday after being limited on Wednesday, but head coach Bruce Arians said the pass-rusher is fine. The Bucs are already without Sean Murphy-Bunting (elbow) for the foreseeable future, so Ross Cockrell may be forced into more playing time if Davis cannot play on Sunday. Despite the injuries on the defensive side of the ball, the Buccaneers defense/special teams will be a very strong play in Week 2 against a Falcons offense that allowed six sacks, turned the ball over three times and scored only 13 points in Week 1.
