Carlos Rodon To Receive Cortisone Injection
2 years agoNew York Yankees left-hander Carlos Rodon (back) will receive a cortisone injection as soon as possible, according to manager Aaron Boone. The medical consensus on Rodon is that it will help him get back on the mound. Rodon began his first season with the Yankees on the injured list due to a left-forearm injury, but a back injury continues to keep him out into May. There's no exact timetable on when the 30-year-old southpaw will be able to get back on a mound, though, so fantasy managers can only sit and wait. At this point, it might be wishful thinking for Rodon to make his 2023 debut for the Yanks until late May or early June.
