Carlos Dunlap Wants To Play For A Contender
1 year agoFree-agent defensive end Carlos Dunlap remains without a team, but he plans on continuing his career and wants to sign with a team that has a shot at winning a Super Bowl title. "I can help another team get one of their own or help the Chiefs again," Dunlap said. "The Chiefs haven't ruled that out, but currently it's a waiting game." The 34-year-old played a rotational role in Kansas City last year on the way to winning his first Super Bowl championship. He started in only two games but still played 537 defensive snaps, recording 39 tackles, four sacks, eight passes defensed and one forced fumble. At this point in his career, Dunlap is willing to take a lesser role in exchange for a spot on a team with a serious chance at making a deep run in the postseason.
