Cal Quantrill Gets A Win On Tuesday
3 years agoCleveland Guardians starting pitcher Cal Quantrill threw seven innings of three-run ball on Tuesday, earning the quality start and the win against the Texas Rangers to bring his record to 3-3. He allowed eight hits, two home runs, and one walk, and produced three strikeouts. Quantrill has been impressive again after a solid season last year, posting a 3.56 ERA, 1.20 WHIP, and 36 strikeouts over 60.2 innings pitched. Although the 27-year-old's peripherals don't support his success (4.27 xERA), he's outperformed in the past two seasons, so if it continues much further, fantasy managers might have to buy in.
