Bryse Wilson Struggles In Loss To Arizona
4 years agoAtlanta Braves pitcher Bryse Wilson struggled against the Arizona Diamondbacks during the first game of a doubleheader on Sunday. The 23-year-old right-hander allowed three runs on four hits through four innings of work and took the loss. Wilson allowed a solo homer and a two-run shot during the game. Missing bats has been an issue for the hurler throughout his young career but he managed four strikeouts in this game. Coming into Sunday's contest, Wilson had a 5.66 ERA and K-BB of 38-26 through 47.2 career innings spanning parts of four seasons. He's a backend starter with a limited ceiling but he should get additional opportunities to prove himself.
