Bryan De La Cruz Just Keeps Getting On Base
Bryan De La Cruz just keeps on getting on base and scoring runs. On Wednesday against the Washington Nationals, De La Cruz went 1-for-3 with two walks, three runs scored, and two RBI. His hit was a solo homer in the eighth inning, giving him five home runs and 17 RBI. He's hitting .336 with an .882 OPS. The Marlins are hoping this is more than a mirage and that De La Cruz, acquired for Yimi Garcia before the trade deadline, can be a starting outfielder in 2022.
