Browns Hire Ken Dorsey As Offensive Coordinator
11 months agoThe Cleveland Browns hired former Buffalo Bills offensive coordinator Ken Dorsey to be their next offensive coordinator on Sunday, according to sources. Dorsey will replace Alex Van Pelt, who served as the Browns' offensive coordinator for the last four seasons. However, head coach Kevin Stefanski has called the offensive plays for the team since taking over in 2020. The Bills fired Dorsey on Nov. 14 after the team got off to a 5-5 start. He was promoted to offensive coordinator in 2022 when his predecessor, Brian Daboll, took the head-coaching job with the New York Giants. Under Dorsey, Buffalo's offense failed to score more than 25 points from Week 5 through his firing after Week 10 as turnovers plagued quarterback Josh Allen and the offense. Dorsey will now be charged with helping Deshaun Watson regain his form after two inconsistent seasons in Cleveland.
